# Link Variant Images to Swatches

## How to link

### **On an individual product basis**

On the product page, scroll down until you see **Tags** on the right hand-side. Then, simply add **vw-variant-vi-link** as a tag

### Globally on all products

On the app’s home page, simply click on **App Preferences**, located at the bottom left corner. Then, enable **Link variant image to product option (swatch)** by ticking the checkbox. Then, click **Close** on the bottom right of dialog, followed by the **Save** button on the top right of the app.

## **How to assign multiple variant images to each variant while using this feature**

On [Variant Wizard](https://apps.shopify.com/variant-image-wizard), first assign all the images you want to link to the corresponding variants within the variant rows. Once completed, click on the **3 dots** button located at the top right corner of the page and then turn the **Variant Images** toggle to the off position, as shown in the screenshot below.

The app will then revert the product to using the standard product image gallery layout (where all images are shown), and clicking each image will change to the correct corresponding product option (swatch).
